The Hotel Encounter
It was supposed to be just another business trip. I’d checked into the hotel late in the evening, dragging my small suitcase behind me, exhausted from the long day of meetings. The lobby buzzed with quiet conversations, the faint notes of jazz music playing from hidden speakers.
